Americans over the last few decades have become rather critical of anything French. Perhaps we sometimes misinterpret genuine patriotism and national pride as arrogance. A close examination of the social structure and governmental attitudes may make one reevaluate one's opinion of this tightly knit nation. Health care in France certainly is a topic worth investigating.
